This morning, I read a great post from Katherine Wolf on "Luxury Problems" and so appreciated her unique perspective. She ended it with an excerpt from a devotional called Dear Jesus:
"The bottom line is whether you trust Me to use the difficulty for
good in your life. Beware of feeling entitled to an easy life. I
actually promised the opposite when I said, ‘In this world you will have
trouble.’ If you want to learn all that I have prepared for you, you
must accept My teaching methods. Remember that I am the Potter, and you
are the clay. You need to be flexible–malleable in My skillful hands.“
Read the whole post here.
Having never heard of Dear Jesus before, I decided to Google it and come to find out it's written by Sarah Young, author of my favorite Jesus Calling! I can't tell you how excited I am to get my hands on this book! Happy Tuesday!
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way.
And He delights in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
Psalm 37:23-24
